Guarantee
All products within the catalogue are guaranteed against defects in materials or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
Conditions
Once you have accepted delivery of your order there is a 7 day time limit to report any faults or defects. You must return the items to Disability Solutions Online and we will send the product to the manufacturer and if found to be defective or faulty we will either refund you your money or replace the item. If it is found not to be faulty or defective we shall return it and charge a delivery fee plus a £40 administration fee.
Delivery policy
We will dispatch your order by post or courier. Within the UK, you can expect delivery within 5-7 working days. Larger items or special orders items may take longer, please contact us for information on any special requirements you may have.
We aim to dispatch most orders within 24 hours of receipt as most items are in stock, but please allow 7 – 14, especially if located overseas. Your order will be acknowledge prior to dispatch. Usual delivery is by 1st class royal mail unless otherwise advised. We take no responsibility for delays or non delivery, if the address or postcode supplied is not correct. If delivery is by courier, this will be during business hours Monday to Friday and goods will require a signature.
Delivery is normally between 2-7 working days from confirmed order. Any specific requests should be made at the time of ordering and we will always endeavour to comply if possible. When your order is ready for dispatch we will telephone you to discuss and confirm delivery details with you.
Late delivery
If your goods have not been received within 14 days of purchase, please contact us and we will track your shipment. Please note that 14 days have to lapse before we can track delivery – this is due to Royal Mail policy.
Returns policy
Our returns policy is in accordance with the consumer protection distance selling regulations 2000. If you have any specific queries regarding our returns policy please contact us. If you have purchased the goods as a consumer, an order for goods may be cancelled by notice in writing sent within the first 7 working days of your order beginning with the day on which you purchased the goods.
Goods must be returned complete including all packaging. If any items are missing when received then the product is deemed incomplete and will be returned to you. Carriage costs for dispatch are returning the goods are your responsibility. Items returned that are incomplete, damaged, opened or used will be returned to you in the condition received.
For non faulty goods
If you have a change of heart you must return the item to ( ) unused and in its original condition and packaging within 7 days for a refund. Faulty products will be refunded after return and inspection by ( ). Each returned product must include all parts, accessories, instructions and packaging etc. This includes items such as cable ties and plug covers. Please note that if security seals are broken or if blister packaging has been opened then the product is not in its original conditions.
Exceptions
We regret that we cannot accept returns when:
- The packaging or any of the individual product components has been unsealed or damaged.
- The non faulty product does not arrive at ( ) in a resalable condition. In this case we will not be able to offer you a refund. We will call you to arrange to send the product back to you and to take payment for subsequent delivery costs.
Warranty
Under the terms of the manufacturers warranty. All our products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, providing it is reasonable to expect the goods to have lasted that long and providing the products have been properly assembled, used, stored and maintained in accordance with the operating instructions, if the item comes with a warranty card makes sure it has been fully and correctly completed and returned within 14 days of receipt of the product. Items covered under the warranty include the following
- wear and tear
- any periodic adjustments necessitated by use or wear, including adjustments of power contacts;
- tyres and wheels
- abuse, misuse, accident or negligence
- improper operation, maintenance and storage
- repairs and/or modification made to any part without specific consent from mobility buy
- battery fluid spillage or leakage
Warranty replaced parts are covered under thee original warranty and hence are only valid from the original date of purchase of the goods.
The warranty part supplied will be of at least equivalent specification and age or wear as that part being replaced.
The warranty is not transferable. What must the costumer do when a fault becomes apparent?
- Stop using the product immediately. Failure to do so will nullify the warranty.
- Notify us immediately and to request a warranty return notification form (WRF)
- Complete WRF and return with product to inspection address indicated on WDF
Cancellations
No notice of cancellation of an order shall be valid unless given in writing and agreed to by an authorised representative of the company
If written notice of cancellation is received by the company, the company reserves the right to levy a cancellation charge up to 50% of the amount of the order
If the contract provides for delivery by instalments, each instalment shall be deemed to be subject of a separate contract and non delivery or delay in the delivery of any instalment shall not entitle the customer to repudiate the contract as regards the balance.

- The customer means the person, firm or company buying goods from the company to whom the goods are to be invoiced (unless the context otherwise requires) and any person to whom or for the benefit of whom the goods may be delivered.
- The goods means the goods described on our invoice.
